Physical Therapy

Kids lead a life in motion. We’re here to make sure their bodies learn to move the right way by improving strength, coordination, mobility and balance so that they’re able to take off running (or jumping).

Physical therapy services help children:

  • Develop gross motor skills
  • Increase strength and endurance
  • Improve balance and coordination
  • Improve posture and core strength
  • Participate in their daily routines

You may want to seek out an evaluation if your child struggles with:

  • Balance/coordination
  • Keeping up with their peers
  • Meeting developmental milestones
  • Atypical walking
  • Frequent falling/tripping
  • Toe walking
  • Running/jumping
  • Prefers turning head to one side (torticollis)

Our Physical Therapists work with infants and children who have:

  • Delays in development
  • Torticollis
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down Syndrome & other genetic syndromes
  • Muscle diseases
  • Neurological disorders
  • Obesity
  • Toe walking

“As a pediatric PT, I have the joy of playing each and every day. Whether it is with a child who is using their imagination to jump through hoops onto different planets, or taking toy dinosaurs on a ride while they complete strengthening exercises. I get to talk, laugh, sing, and play with kids. What’s not to love?”
